Here's what we're about:

Soup Stone is an open table where artists, thinkers, connectors and doers in the SF Bay Area can come to share their ideas for new projects, and help each other accomplish their goals. 

Unemployment in this country is at a high not seen for decades.  There are tons of talented, motivated people out there with good ideas, a desire to make a difference, and time on their hands.  Soup Stone wants to bring them together to make great things happen!  We'll share our ideas for new art projects, publications, social enterprises, innovative communication tools, and technologies.  We'll offer our time, contacts, and moral support to help each other get these ideas off the ground. 

Soup Stone is a supper club, a social circle, a cooperative, a social enterprise, a catalyst for progressive change... It has a mission of providing a space for mutual support between creative people who yearn for meaningful change and are willing to do the legwork to make it happen.  We see opportunity in scarcity, and we take inspiration in the idea that we can build a society where each person brings his or her unique talents to the table to work together towards positive changes for ourselves and our neighbors.

So please join us at the Soup Stone table.  Bring some fresh veggies for the soup, and some fresh ideas for the conversation.
